So i went over to a body shop today. Wanted to get just my new sunoco hood done and told him how much i was willing to spend.
He said "I'll do the whole front clip ,Fenders and hood for $800"
One of my fenders is cracked about 3 inches above the wheel and he says he can fix that. The guy does insurance claims for nationwide so im guessing he has some kind of credentials. He says he uses PPG paint(is that good paint?) how good of a deal is this? or am i getting screwed?

sounds about right to me. my bumper cost ~ $350 to paint (i had the bumper replaced and the whole job was $9xx with the bumper being about $550 of the cost) and last summer had my hood, headlight doors and rear roof panel painted for $730, would guess the roof was ~ $400 of that so with the hood and headlight doors @ $330 and the bumper at $3xx that leaves around $150-$200 for the fenders which they i think normally cost $200-$250 EACH to paint so if your getting everything for $800 that's pretty good. one question though, are they removing the parts to paint them? i know on mine i gave them the hood unpainted and not on the car so they painted and installed that, and the bumper was removed to be replaced and again it was painted before install (i had the original front bumper and the rear bumper resprayed a few years back and they also removed them for that)
if they are not removing them, it's not as good of a deal as if they are since if they don't remove them they can't do as good of a job.
PPG is pretty good imo, IIRC the paint on my hood and bumper from the body shop i used the last 2 times is PPG, not sure on the rear bumper and gfx.
here's a couple pics of my front end. the fenders are original 1995 paint as far as i know.

Thats a fair price as long as the guy does what he is supposed to and uses good material. Good luck.

Yes he is taking the parts off.left that detail out.
my plan was to do this then paint the rest of the car from the doors and back.
