Question 700R4 pan on 4l60E?

I saw a nice trans oil pan i want thats for a 700R4. Anybody know if this pan will work on a 2002 T/A with the 4L60E?

They are the same. PATC has this handy guide on how to identify transmissons by the pan shape. As you can see the 4L60E and 700R4 both use the same gasket.

Keep in mind that if you are going with a deeper pan, you will need a deeper (truck) filter. Also, deeper pans and pans with cooling fins are in more danger of damage, especially if your car is lowered or there are a lot of speed bumps etc. in the area's you drive. May want to consider a good transmission cooler first, although deep pans do have other benefits.

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought it was the same but wanted to make sure. Thanks for the other tips. I have the spohn TQ arm and the tunnel brace is far and away the lowest part of my car. Already have a nice cooler this is mostly for show and ease of draining. the price is right.
