Default I got some new toys...check it out!

The cats were all over the stuff the second I came in, I think it was a new smell plus the smell of Bella from Four Seasons. I was messing around with Bella and the dog was chewing on my hand. Really cool little French Bulldog.

I think I've spent enough cash for now. Next item is a P22 Walther for the fiance and little brothers/sisters then a semi auto shotgun.

Welcome to the 1911 club

Nice AR-15 too. I almost got one recently for dirt cheap, oh well.

Don't you love expensive hobbies.

Very nice!!!!
i looked at that same 1911 about a month ago online. hhmmmmm.

as for the p-22, i have one with the laser on it, you will get it for her and keep it for yourself. lol its a fun little gun once you get it tuned in. after 500 or so rounds threw it and a couple cleanings it pretty good over all.
use atleast 36 gr ccw amo if her plan is to carry it for protection, slim to no jams using the good amo. the winchester cheep stuff is great for the range but misses the eject some times.

that ar-15 is sick!! my ak has the tel stock on it, looks great. it it pinned?

Very nice!

I love my AR-15... got a quad-rail fore-grip, moulded pistol grip, flashlight, and bipod on it. Looking for a Trijicon ACOG for it... but they are soooooo much money

BTW, I hate you for being able to have a full magazine for the AR... all I can have is 10rd mags.

Which 1911 is this one? S&W? Mil-Spec? Government? 1911-A1? This will be my next pistol, I am just waiting for the pistol purchase permit from NJ.

WS6 - It is a S&W 1911. Unless your laws are different, as long as the magazines are made before 1998 you can have 30+ rounds. Look into it, I'm pretty sure you can.

Noyzee - I shot Speedy's P22 Walther and I think I would shot that more than anything, easy to shot alot, cheap to shot alot and great practice. I would just say it's for the girl anyhow and use it more than her. In regards to the M4, yes the stock is pinned, from what I understand (and I'll look into it), the firearm itself has to be no shorter than xx inches. Right now the gun is longer than the state mininum. You also cannot have a free floating collapisble stock. What I plan to do is remove the pin's, shrink the stock to the state regulated lenght then re-pin it. It is legal as long as the gun isnt shorter than xx inches and the stock is pinned. I was very close to buying a Romanian WASR 10 but I saw the M4's. In time I will likely get the AK. Matter of fact I saw a P22 with the laser at Four Season's. Where do you shop for your firearm stuff?

Did you guys know that Cali has a WELDED 10 round magazine on their AR-15's? You have to open the gun to load the magazine, unbelivable!

Expensive....like people dont even know!

I was set on a Glock....I went to the store and held the M&P .45, it felt a **** ton nicer than I thought and have a nice style to it. I wasnt crazy about the polymer frame but it was really better I thought, the slide has a nice visual appeal to it and it fit my hand very very well. Then I held the 1911 and hands down it was awesome, I've shot them in the past and forgot how slim (width wise) they were, how balanced they were and how plain they look while have a timeless design. Then I held the Glock....what a P.O.S., it felt like a brick for a frame and a brick as a slide. I understand the point, function over form but alot of firearms have the function aspect, I wanted a little bit of form as well. They have the same 1911 with the tatical rail to mount crap on the firearm but I felt it really took away from the design.

Congrats. I'm diggin the 1911, I've been looking at them for the past few days, just can't decide on which brand to pick up.

Don't know if I've posted this picture before, but Frans96ss and I built some ARs a few months back.

I hate the look of the super long stock. I want to make it shorter, it's even longer than it has to be here in MA.

351 - The S&W seems to work really smooth, I'll have a field report soon. I've shot Kimbers before and they were very nice; not MA legal though.

I have already taken the 1911 apart, cleaned it and put it back together. The M4A3 will be this weekend. I'm physced because I got 4 brand new pre-ban magazines for the M4A3.

Well I guess that means you got your license without restrictions.

Glad to see you bought a couple very nice firearms for your first two....

Tiffany loves her P22 and her Ruger 10/22... might be at the range this weekend for a little bit.

Welcome to the club Joe...

Brad, what kind of .45 did you get?

Todd, I got it with the target and hunting. The LT said they will lift it if I own a firearm without incident for a little while....what can I do. This weekend is going to be tough for me, 5 reception hall's to check out and 2 more appointments on Sunday. Going to feel like I'm dead Sunday evening.

Hey Brad, that store looks really cool. It says they do their own re-loading, how much is the re-loaded .45 ammo if you know?

We have a really small budget so if we didnt shop around we'd just be stuck with something crummy. We are shopping around and the more and more we do, we begin to realize you dont have to spend a ton.

Only inviting 50 people helps too!

The fiance isnt very comfortable around guns, she walked in the house, saw the M4 and started laughing, she asked me if I was going to war or something. She thinks the M4 is ridicilous.

not sure about the pre ban magazine... I think in NJ you can not have a riffle with a larger than 10 round capacity.

Same here in MA, any assault rifle made after 1998 can only come with a 10 round magazine. If you buy a magazine prior to 1998 then it can hold 15, 20, 30 or even the drums.

If a 30 round magazine intrests you I'd suggest you hop onto ar15.com and confirm it. I am 99% sure you can get them.
