Default tt2's fit very close to front brake calipers

About a year ago when I fitted these 7x9.5 TT2's onto my 2001 LS1 Z28 I noticed that the clearance between the hub flange and the calipers was very tight, but the wheels still seemed to rotate freely. Today, however, someone who was helping me do some work on the car said the same thing so it's got me wondering again.

Upon looking more closely I can see that there has been some contact, as the outer edge of the flange on both front wheels has been ever so slightly rubbed away. Does this very close fit look right to you, or was I sold the wrong rims for my car?

There have been some cases where the Caliper abutment bracket rubs the back side of the center hub of the wheel.

That area of the wheel can be massaged down to eilimnate the rubbing, or over time it will "fix" itself . . . .

Thanks for the info and yes, mine seems to have fixed itself. So the close fit is normal then?
