I don't think I'd waste my time with that thing. How old is it and how many miles? Even if it would work I think it's seen better days.

I think I need to see pics of the measuring tape holder to give a better evaluation of this item.

i love twin charged diesels. to bad they are all pretty much gone now.

i also think you will have a hard time spooling that thing with a 5.3.

keep in mind that this turbo was on massive motor that needed a blower to make up for the lag of the turbo.

Looks like it was in a fire or around salt water.

Actually 2 stroke diesels will NOT run without the blower. They can't pull in a fresh intake charge. It is not because of the size of the turbo.

I don't for the OPs turbo, but I was referring to the twincharged (roots blower + turbo). No point on putting a roots blower on a standard diesel.

With all that rust...I would say it needs a rebuild. No way is that thing still balanced with rust on the impellers.

TV series based unit off a DDC. Probably not worth messing with on a build unless your running a pretty big motor and not looking for alot of power.

X2. Would probably work well for a budget BBC build.
