Default Oil pump ???

Hey guys i bought a melling select 10295 stock replacement pump and this thing is cast iron WTF? I looked in some other places and they show it to be aluminum. Has anyone run one and are they ok? Its going in a 408 if that helps. Thanks...

They are good pumps. Mine is cast and not aluminum!

Just wondered about it. I didnt know anyone made an iron pump. I hope it does well. Anyone else running one.

Im running the m295. Works just like the stock 100K pump i took out.
