5.3 in an 89 c2500 the 175,000 mile 350 in my truck is about worn out. i have a 5.3 out of an 2000 silverado and am trying to figure out how hard this would be. the 89 has a rebuilt 700r4 i would like to reuse. how about motor mounts? any info on what i would use? i have the F.I. intake and a carbed intake so i could go either way. lots of questions and looking or some guidance

www.ls1truck.com has a sticky thread that will give you a step my step for your model truck.
That would be your best bet for starters. i did this on a 1990.
