Default What woks better, header wrap or ceramic coating?

Don't know why I can't get a staight answer for this, so I guess I'll keep asking. What insulates/retains heat inside of headers/exhaust the best? I know ceramic looks good, I know wrap is cheaper. Please chime in on your experiences please.

Wrap no doubt. You can lay your hand on the headers if there wrapped. Thats how little heat gets out.

Header wrap I believe has better insulation however it absorbs moisture and can make the headers rust. Ceramic coating will last longer look better and still be cooler than uncoated.

Thank you, Thank you and Thank you! All the above is what I was thinking. Just needed confirmation from the real world.
