Default 1.79 60' is this good for my mods?

I have a midwest 3000 2.5str w/ 16" et streets mounted on firebird 5 spokes.
RWHP 325..I forget my torque.
Time slip
r/t .553
60' 1.798
330' 5.143
1/8 7.947
MPH 87.78
1000 10.388
1/4 12.462
MPH 108.51

I had tire pressure at 14 lbs and dead hooked 3 out of 4 runs.

Is this converter teh suq or am I doing ok? Any tips for running a little better?

I guess nitrous or a cam is next. I will probubly be needing a rollbar if I add nitrous though.

What gears do you have? With 2.73's I have ran high 1.7 60's on street tires. It shoudl go 1.6's with the QTP's since I could not come off the line too hard with the street tires. But 1.78 is a very respectable time.

I have 3:23's. Since this post I have got the ball rolling on some MTI upgrades. Stage 2e heads, x1 cam and Yank SS4000.
I think my biggest problem after all these mods will be traction.

Too bad it will prob be Mid to late Dec before all the work is done.
