Default Headers for covertible A4

does anyone make headers that will fit a 98 convertible A4 trans am? i know that i would need a new brace SLP use to make one but they dont anymore.

Not sure what you are talking about.. I have Pacesetter LT's with ORY that I installed my self...

No additional parts needed.

i just finished up putting on ebay headers with a hooker oryp this past weekend. I had to grind the k member a bit on both sides but other than that they I'm very pleased.

Dude...the headers are universal between all 98+ F-bodies. Save for the 01-01 not having EGR hook-up

i was under the impression that automatic convertibles had to have different headers because the transmission got in the way. I got the info from SLP's web site so i did search.

I have an old SLP brace i bought used (kinda looks like an H) its used i got for $40 which i'll sell you. what im using now is an SLP drive shaft safety loop and my jethots fit / clear fine. i could send you a pic txt if you pm me a ph#. thx

Nope, the engine/trans sits the same regardless. The convertibles have some differences in suspension, but nothing that will affect headers
