275 40 17's vs. 245 45 17's
I am in need of tires pretty badly, my current ones have a lot of tread but are very dry since they are on a Arizona car and are about 6 years old. The wheels and tires I have now are 97 SS with 245 45 17's.
I am broke as a joke, to start of with, that is why I have not even bought new tires yet. Also, I drive my car about 1-2k a year and never run it, really.
I can get a set of brand new generic 245 45 17's for 300 Bucks installed.
Or I can get some Falken 502's in 275 40 17 for 450 installed.
Is it worth the 150 Bucks? I want to say yes myself, but I never drive my car. It just sits and looks good
