FAST 92/92 for my mods?
I've searched around a little and can't seem to find too many that have this combo on a small cam engine with results to show for it. I'm currently running an 03 LS6 with a 224r cam (.581/.581 114 LSA), LS6 manifold with 1 3/4 longtubes and 3" TD's with an X pipe. My MAF and throttle body are both ported and polished DIY style, I noticed a good gain from that. Later on I plan to do some work on the heads and probably a bigger cam, something in the 230's range. Is it worth my time to go ahead an get this now? I see a lot of people saying keep the LS6 on mild H/C or cam only setups but I'm making more power than a lot of those already.
Heres my dyno sheet for the setup right now, it starts to fall off up top as expected for the cam I'm running.

You think so? I was looking at heads as well. I have about $2500 to play with thats why I was thinking about the FAST. I know with the small cam I want to keep intake runner volume down and keep the compression up, but I'm not sure which heads would be good for what I would need.

id do heads both are expensive but heads will produce more power... or nitrous haha also i noticed in your sig you dont list that you have a 12 bolt or 9" rear... you may want to save up for one cause if your going to use that power youll eventually need one

I'm actually going to be buying an S60. I'm trying to spice my car up a little and have some fun this month since I deploy next month for 8 months and the car will sit most of that time anyways. As soon as I come back the big axle is the first purchase I'm gonna make.

if you plan to do both heads and the intake eventually....it really is up to you which you do now.
the FAST will gain good power judging from the power you're making now. and the nice thing about intake is you can install it in an afternoon, and for little additional cost than the tune afterwards (most likely). heads will require gaskets, bolts, and DEF a tune.
with stock ls1 heads i gained 18hp and 12ftlbs with my home ported FAST 90/90....same day same dyno, tuned before and after.

That's just for the fast intake. Combined with a set of heads (and I still reccomend the prc 5.3 heads as it has smaller runners than the ls6 and is capable of higher compression as well) you should see 50rwhp+.give the guys at TSP a call they can tell you 1st hand what is best and what gains are to be expected.
