Default Exhaust Question?

I am doing an LS2 swap in my Chevelle. I took a s/b 350 out of it. I've reached the point of hooking up the exhaust. I am using the Edelbrock long tubes made for the LS swap. I already have 2 1/2 inch pipes with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers running out the back. I will be taking it to the exhaust shop this weekend to have the pipes done. It will be approx 25 inches of pipe from the header collector to the mufflers (per side). Should I run an "X" pipe or crossover pipe with the new LS2 engine? Or, should I run straight pipes for the left and right sides? I get different opinions on this. Is one way better than the other? Any help is appreciated...THANKS!
