You may get more responses if you post in the eastern section. Every car that I've seen from Cartek is always running very well at the track

I would def post this in the Eastern members forum. There are quite a few supporters. Every shop/brand has them.

Personally I would not rule them out for possible people I would go to for quotes on a set of LS1 heads, from what I have seen, they make good power and the price is reasonable.

They have been doing the LS1 thing for a while, near since the beginning. I remember in a old issue of Pontiac HP and they had a silver car painted some slick looking Purple and made stupid HP #'s and this was back in I would like to say 2002. (The Dark Ages) lol.

for their cost you can buy a set of tfs 215 and save alot of money while making more hp.. ...i considered them prior to my upgrade last year..

Cartek Stage 4X heads. Includes, full porting heads intake, exhaust, and combustion
chamber, Manley sever duty stainless valves, 2.02 intake, 1.57 exhasut, seals, Comp 921 springs, spring seats, seals, titanium retainers, milled .030, cleaned and assembled. $2,700
if you dont have a core to give them...

Z06 LS6 head cores
$650

VS

TFS 215 from Vengeance Racing...

2379 + 75 for milling...

i think the answer is quite obvious....

yeah, the rockers were part of it. i am not sure i have read about any optimal rocker setups. it seems like most are heavier than stock. also, i read a post where cartek said they have worked with tfs before and they feel their ported heads were better and made more power than they got by porting tfs.
