Default which CAI? K&N or Volant

aight so im looking at these two since i dunno of any others but rather go this route then a lid an it looks alot better. aight so both around $350-390. k&n claims 14.7 HP an volant is 11HP. ill be puttin it on a 00SS. jus thoughts of these choices an experiences.. thanx guys

id go with K&N. ive never had any problems with mine after 2 years

Niether. Get a lid on the classifieds section and do the FRA mod. Garantee it'll flow the same and it wont be sucking in hot air.

i think their all great brand but i dont think youll notice a difference in power between any of them so as long as you get something

K&N here, bought when they first came out in about 2001. No issues here.

Volant - Have had mine for 5 years and it is great with no problems My volant seals right to my hood and I gained roughly .2 like stated above. Never had a Dyno run so can't give you any numbers.
