Default nitrous and turbo combo?

I am in the middle of my turbo build. I have a fully forged 6.0 bored .30 over I am running a bw 88mm with a 1.10 exhaust. I know of a cobras running 100-150 shot on a ported blower and have heard of grand nationals doing the same. My question is can I do the same safely? Maybe 100 shot max or would it be better to just run water/meth? Any info is helpfull. Thanks

I dont see you running out of air on that set up so my question would be why not just add more boost if your trying to make more power.

I run a small 35-50 shot on my little baby 60 trim as a anti lag and even on a little turbo the nitrous eliminates lag and helps the car leave much harder.

I am sure you could run a 100 shot if you wanted but i would try to get the most out of the turbo first. For my set up the little 60 trim is out of air so more boost is not a option with out upgrading.

i agree a simple meth kit for 400 bucks is awesome. brother has it on his GN and hes running 28lbs on pump gas on the street. of course its a smaller turbo but he runs it pretty hard and has taken a year to go through 5 gallons of meth. it completely eliminates knock and detonation. plus its a proven fact that it works well and is worry free.

I dont see why not especially to help with the lag off the line. Just keep the shot somewhat small becouse its gonna hit harder then its jetted for.

We run juice on boost all the time. SAFELY!!!

It is really common to run nitrous in conjuction with boost. One good thing is you can actually up the juice and pull back a little boost if needed. This will put much cooler air into the intake which in turn works alot better compared to a heat soaked boosted only application. The key is fin ding the happy medium of fuel, timming and power.

Keep in mind that with a boosted application it is common to see a bigger hp gain on the same jet compared to a NA set up.

If you need any help or advice let me know.

I plan on running nitrous on my boosted car, my thinking is boost is great and makes great hp and tq numbers all across the rpm range but it would be nice to have some more hp and tq only when wanted and after the car is hooked and pulling hard.

should I run some kind of window switch other than the a tps switch? I have 3.73's and a 3200 stall so I'm not to concerned about going 100%tps at a low rpm. What rpm would you recommend spraying at?

yes you still want to run a window switch. 3000 is a good starting point. are you auto or manual? with a built auto you can spray through the shifts. if its a stock auto or manual you want to cut the spray a few 100 rpms before your shift point.

Our digital windowswitch with built in TPS activation and gear lock out features is hard to beat. It is completely sealed so you can mount it anywhere you like. Its only 110.00

Like suggested above 3000 is a standard point for activation.
