Hello from East Tennessee
I purchased an 86 Buick GN last year, it was a theft recovery (salvage title). The car was completely stripped, it is basicly a rolling chasis w/ the big rear end and no rust or rot.
So I have decided to drop in a LQ4 6.0 w/ a single turbo, looking to make about 600-650HP. I would like to make it a serious street car. I have already found and bought the full interior and some other minor pieces. Like alot of ppl I will have to build it on a budget and it might take a year or more but I have determination to do this since I have always wanted a GN.. even tho it wont be a true GN but its still gonna be a lot of fun!
I'm sort of new to the updated electronics being since the last altered ride I had was an 85 S10 blazer w/ a SBC 400 on go juice. I have a fabrication back ground and some what of a shade tree mechanic. I have been lurking for some time now and ready to ask some questions.
Anyone from the E Tenn area?
Just glad to be here.
