I have a 98Z with all boltons including the LS6 intake. Would it make any sense to go from a factory 75mm ported LS1 TB to Factory LQ4 80mm ported TB do any of ya'll know if this would make any difference at all? Any inputs would be great.

Simple terms is there any increase hp from a ported stocker to a bbk or any other brand 80mm TB?

I would say go with ported stocker. Its cheapest and still flows well, later on if you go with a big H/C you will want to go with a FAST 90 or something and you will need a bigger throttle body, so why buy two expensive aftermarket TBs. Just my .02
