Default Ground Circuit Wiring

I finally got to the wiring stage with my LS1 into 66 Skylark swap and have a question about grounding. Is it really necessary to have ground cables to both heads? I am planning a single ground stud to accomodate all the the required grounds. I plan a 4 gauge from battery negative to the stud; a 4 gauge from the stud to the frame; a 4 gauge from the stud to the engine; a 10 gauge wire from the stud to the carbody and the 2 grounds in the harness to the stud. Anybody see any problems with my plan?

as long as your battery is up front it sounds alright.keeping the pos and neg the same would be best.i grounded both heads on a drag race big block car witha 7al3 box.it made a difference in the spark, sometimes the head gasket will insulate a little. go to the electric section on yellowbullet.com . very good section on wiring. guy named raaaay is the moderator

Thanks for the tip. I will take a look. Anybody else ground their set ups differently?
