Default Header bolt broke off in the head!

hey guys. a friend of mine was doing a header swap on his truck and one of his header bolts broke off in the head even after soaking with pb blaster for 30 mins. I know this requires removal of the head, but what's the best way to go about removing it? Take it to a machine shop and have them drill and extract or will it need to be retapped or what?

Best to use a drill press. Use the largest screw extractor possible in this case probably #2. If the fastener doesn't come right out don't force the screw extractor. If you break the screw extractor off you got bigger problems.

Take it to a machine shop - unfortunately helicoiling can be difficult, if the hole is drilled too deep it goes into the waterjacket
