Default Besting a 1.8 second 60'...

This basically started off as a grude match between a freind with a stalled auto that believes that M6 cars can't launch hard...
Anyways, I have a cammed LT1/T56 Fbody, stock 3.42 rear end, full aftermarket suspension, and I am about to pick up some MT slicks. Only problem is I'm still using the stock clutch. It's holding fine for now, but I'm sure it will slip on slicks. The whole plan is to best my friends 1.8 60' time. As of now my best 60' time is a 2.146 on 315 street tires. What clutch would you recommend for street/strip use to help achieve my goal?

Something a lto better than the stocker. I have 400ish and I ma using the LS6 clutch, but she does not see the track. If I were you I heard a lot of good stuff out of the textrilla clutches and the Monster clutches. Give a vender a call and see what they recommend.

I am still trying to figure out why he thinks m6's cant launch hard. You on the stock 10 bolt? That might be a problem on slicks. I drive a m6 and cut high 1.5 60's
