Default Interior noise

I don't know where it is coming from but recently when I'm driving my dashboard makes all sorts of noise even when I hit a minor bump it rattles like crazy. And know where the screws are to tighten it. it sounds like it comes from either the heads up or the plastic piece above the gage cluster.

could be most anything. u could try removing the easy stuff. Drivers side vent, Radio/HVAC go for a dive. Try to eliminate the noise.

with my GXP, my AC vent in the corner of the dash, left of the gauges, next to the door, rattled like crazy. I ended up using a philips screw driver to take that dash piece out completely and crazy glued the vent in place from the back.

These cars are not built like the olden days. Instead of bolts and screws, it's all snap together crap.

I have noticed that my Monte makes alot of noise aswell. I have taken things off and re placed them back in with no luck. I think GXP08 is right, when you have plastic and push lock buttons to hold things on, its going to flex and make noise over the older cars.

It is definitley the vent that is making all the noise now I just have to figure out how to stop it.

mine does the same thing. I also used some foam tape in the sunroof trim ring to quiet down some noises in the roof.
