Fueling & Injection - Me Wan Buy Racetronix Pump

I got 2000 Z28 that needs a new fuel pump. Stock application/noting fancy. Just want a good pump. Can someone throw up a link to the pump they sell that will be plug and play? I think it was the one for like 150 bucks or so.

Thats the pump you want but you want to do the wireharness along with it the higher amp draw of the new pump can damage your stock wiring. I keep a couple options in stock give me a call.

Yes all you NEED is the pump, but just like Nate said you will need the hot wire kit for the aftermarket pump so that it will not damage the factory wiring. You can chose just to buy the pump and take your chances. He's just sharing his experience/knowledge.

Hmm. Well in that case I will not be buying this pump. I need a pump that will work with factory wiring. I see no use in my case to use a pump that will require me to redo any wiring.

The stock pump works with factory wiring.

A higher capacity fuel pump is more than likely gonna require more juice to run, and the stock wiring is marginal at best. If you are going to the trouble of replacing the fuel pump, how much more trouble is changing the wiring harness? It is plug and play just like the pump...

I see your argument... How much more work is it compared to just cutting a hole in the back and pulling one out and putting another in?

plug it in to the alternator, zip tie it to the frame, unplug harness infront of rear axle, plug in racetronix, thats about it.
