Default b&m shiftplus+ install?

i got this thing basicly for free and wanted to see how good it is. but the instructions dont matchup check the link.


my wires arent in that spot.

I know it says what it says but i I thought those were only for f body cars up to 1997....

there is a seperate picture showing 94-97 firebird 5.7l. every website i went on seems to think its 99+ that wont take it. something with the tune

It intercept's the force motor and forces 0-10% duty cycle raising your pressure thats all. You might get it to work by finding a pinout of you car and finding those two wires. Just a thought. I had one and IMO it's not worth the effort to install it. Just get a Transgo 4l60-HD2 and call it a day.

i spliced it onto the colors it said it was and it made my idle seem realy off like it was missfiring. it was the right colors but wrong location on the harness. it only takes about 5 mins to install. thats half a cig

I agree with PedalToMetal...give it to someone else. The only time I could tell a difference was at low acceleration. The harder you accelerate the less you feel it. Does nothing for WOT shifts.

BTW, I followed the instructions and no problems. Don't know about 98+.
