Default Another question for those of you with cutouts.

I was just curious as to how cutouts affect gas mileage on LS1 vehicles.

Negligible at best. I never noticed anything to either direction.

I haven't noticed any difference. I run mine open most of the time unless I'm on a long road trip.

mine dropped 15 mpg....





just had to be out of the ordinary...



honestly, it will probably decrease.. why? not because the car actually gets worse... but you wont be able to stop revving at people and getting on it..

On long trips ..... I wish I had the electric ..... but I also was gunna check this out. Probably on my next fill up I will cap it and see how many miles I get. Little experiment.

i get a couple mpg less when my cutout is open simply because i seem to be on the gas a lot more oh well sounds beastly
