Default Making the zex system better?

Would it be possible to see more than the advertised 175 shot with maybe -4 lines to the nozzle and maybe a better nozzle?

The only way that you are going to be able to do that would be to take the Zex box off and get some Solenoids that are rated to go over 175hp. To my knowledge the zex noids in the box max out at 175hp.

I thought they were the standard smaller solenoids.... i believe its like .075 orifice or something? I was just thinking how some guys kits limiting factors were the lines to the nozzle and or the nozzle. So was just wondering if the zex kit could benefit from that, but i guess the solenoids just cant handle more?

They are small orifice solenoids. You have to figure a loss of around 15% ~ 20% of flow through a solenoid.

Just a update.... i was running a 82N jet and 38F jet the car was running very rich 11.0-11.3ish i then threw a 83N jet and it really made no difference, so I figured that was about the max of the ZEX system. I then upgraded to -4 nozzle lines and re sprayed the car, now it's running 12.1-12.5ish..... I guess that goes to show there is more left in the kit if you upgrade the lines.
