Default what color is this?

Can someone give me the interior color that is on the door panel? I ordered the dash pad that is up against it, and the guy sending it said it was charcoal. I thought my interior was charcoal, the dash pad looks black

That's what I thought. The guy said that the pad came out of a 98 and they didn't have black interiors then. I just don't want to order another charcoal one and have it come in looking black like this one

It's charcoal, ebony (black) is quite a bit darker.

Correct, 98 did not have ebony interiors. I have seen different shades of charcoal though.

Yeah Mine is much lighter, more on the grey side. This is going to make things difficult trying to find a replacement part

it may also depend on the dash pad because of the wear the sun does on it. i think?

You're right about the sun - any interior piece - even if not directly hit by sunlight, but gets hot, is gonna make the colors fade some - might be real hard to match.
