quick question... will a 17x11 with a 50mm offset on a 315/35 tire fit on the rear of a 2000 camaro z28 without having to do any modding to get it to fit?

Actually, it honestly depends . . . It all depends on what BRAND tire you buy . . .
If you say get a Nitto, mods will most likely be very few if none . .
If you get a BFG KD, most likely need to do some BFH inner wheel well massaging.
If you are lowered, an adjustable panhard would be virtually necessary . .
Rolling the quarter lip would be related to a wider 315, such as the KD or Goodyears GS D3 . . .
