Well, you can check out my site below, I carry Monster Clutches, and they are on sale right now until teh end of July. For teh HP level you are at, take a look at:
Levels 1, 1.5, 2, and 2.5, they are right up your alley.

You will get mixed reviews on just about every clutch brand out there for a variety of reasons. You just have to be able to sift through the BS you will hear.

Pretty much all the clutch makers for our cars have clutches that will work just fine for youre amount of power, take particular care to install it properly and learn to drive it appropiatly as a more aggressive clutch will not like to be slipped like a stock clutch can.

Here are a couple threads with some of the best clutches out there:

Feel free to let me know if you have questions on either.

Default Text all the way....

I'm in the same situation and in my opinion if money isn't an issue I would save for a textralia oz700. I have a friend who has a 650 hp Trans Am doing 6000rpm launches at the track pulling front tires and then turns around to drive it home. Awesome clutch in my opinion...lil expensive for me. Saving in the process as we speak. Feels very slightly heavier than stock clutch but holds like a full blown race clutch!! That's just my opinion...

Awesome guys! I really appreciate the help, and I am still on the fence about what to do but it is becoming very clear as Brad said that everyone has their own opinion, which is making this decision just that much harder. Also I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with the ls7 clutches....? Well thanks again guys! Good luck KingManFred and shoot me back an update if you end up going with the textralia.

everyone does have their own opinions and youve come to the right place to hear them, ive not heard anything bad about the ls7 clutch, it will hold your power no problem and still feel stock

textralias are nice but expensive and unless your going all out you really dont need all out parts theres plenty of ppl out there who buy all out parts when they aren going all out and later wind up trading them cuz it didn turn out nearly as cool as they planned

You need to quit F'ing around and buy the Gorilla XX Double Throw Down Max PSI Teradactyl Talon LS1000 Non-Slip 63 Layer Carbon Fiber 21 Disk Lockup Diaphram Three Finger Hybrid Clutch that I've been running in my '63 Plymouth.

Pedal feel is really nice and this clutch will hold any power God could throw at it. PM me for a link as the company that makes this clutch is not a sponsor.

Geez, I really hope your the person I think you are. Otherwise I'm gonna feel like a total jackass.

If you plan on keeping close to 400rwhp, go with LS7 clutch and flywheel. Only cost $400-$450 shipped. Recently installed and holds fine with Drag radials, w/ bolt-on full weight SS.

What kind of budget are you on?

I think I have about $1000 in a Tick master, Monster stage III, chromoly flywheel, new slave/Throwout bearing, pilot bearing and fluid. I definitely couldn't be happier! The monster clutch is very easy to drive and will hold up to whatever I can throw at it. Now my rear end is a different story

The tick master is crucial!

Do you plan on more power? How do you drive the car? Do you plan on using slicks? Give me a call and I can make a recommendation for you.
