returning from a 6 month deployment what maintenance should be done?
So I'm about a week away from coming back from a 6 month deployment and my 05 gto has just been in long term parking for that entire time with the battery unplugged, and a full tank of gas.. Any suggestions that I may not have thought of as far as what I should do maintenance wise right when I get back?
I was thinking an oil change right away and then a possible coolant flush, not really sure what else I would need as far as basic maintenance besides possibly a new battery as well.. Also its been stored outside, but its in San Diego. That may or may not affect maintenance needing to be done since it doesnt really get cold in sd during the winters. Thanks in advance.

jeeze man 6 months thats all. I did 15 and when i came back i just changed the oil. Dont waste your money on a coolant flush unless you havent changed your coolant in years. Next time put your battery on a trickle charger. Worked excellant for me. Just check for rodents and change your oil and you'll be golden.

Alright I appreciate it guys I was probably just over thinking it, but yeah i would have done something different with the battery but the long term parking lot makes you unplug the battery so not much i could do there. Thanks again.
