Default More than a Newbie cam ?

I posted this in the newbie section and maybe I should have posted it here?

I'm sure this is simple basic info but I haven't managed to find it in a couple exhaustive searches..

Thanks for looking... Jeffhttps://ls1tech.com/forums/new-ls1-o...-317-head.html

You'll need 02+ LS6 springs, and aftermarket 7.425 pushrods (smaller base circle on cam). That is all.
All else is interchangeable.

Damn , .025 makes that much difference in hyd. lifter motor?

I kept seeing the "..7.4".." and thought people where generalizing talking about the 7.425 P-rods I need to run the late ls6 cam in my LQ9.

Thanks, Jeff

You can buy a adjustable push rod length checker... And yes it does mean the differance between a smooth valve train and a noisy sewing machine valve train.
