Default D1SC Question

Quick question on a D1SC Procharger. With the correct bracket would a D1SC off of a GTO work on a T/A? I know there are different clocking positions, but don't know the whole concept or what will work with what. Also, if I just got the head unit, and I pieced the kit together, I'm fairly sure I can do it inexpensively. Would I need the boost referenced FMU from Procharger or could I go with something else? Thanks.

yeah, it will work on an fbody. it may be clocked a little differently. you may have to clock it for an fbody.

the FMU is a pre-tuning hold over... PCM programming replaces it and does a much better job.

GTO is standard rotation. Fbody is reverse rotation for LS1's. Answer: no, it wont work..

So, it won't work at all? Or I would just have to re-clock it? And if I have to re-clock it, what does that entail, and what does it cost? Thanks for bearing with me haha.

It wont work no matter which way you clock it! Its facing the wrong way for an LS1 fbody.

I thought they had the same head units, thanks for the clarification. All of the FI GTOs that I have tuned were PD or turbo.

Yea, the GTO is on the drivers side.. However, it doesnt matter which side the bracket is on anyways. Its which way the head unit faces that matters. Think about it..
