Default Sbc pistons in a lq4

Has anyone ever used 1.125 comp height small block chevy pistons in a LQ4 stroker with a 4.00 crank and 6.125 rod? Other than 1/16 rings, no pin offset and valve reliefs there aren't much of a difference.

Not a good idea. This was what some piston companies did in the early days of the LS1. Unfortunately those pistons were horrible due to incorrect skirt taper and inadequate counterweight clearance not to mention the reluctor clearance needed on the number 8 piston.
