Default are rubber hoses nhra legal?

I have to put a oil relo kit on my ls1. Since I put a moroso oil pan. And I would like to put the relo kit and a cooler. And both things have the clamp on style ends. Can I put rubber hoses? Or can ss lines be clamped on? Sorry for the newbie question!

And btw. There's two holes for the oil filter. One towards the front and one towards the back. Which one is out flowing and which one is the return?

rubber lines are not legal in NHRA for high pressure unless they are the correct style high pressure lines (not the cheap fuel line stuff you get from an auto parts store) and are double clamped. Nylon or Teflon braided w/ AN fittings / hard line is the best bet to avoid any headaches IMHO.

I don't think I would want to trust a rubber hose with something like an oil line, honestly the cost isn't that bad to do an -an line setup, and the piece of mind that the lines aren't going to blow out is worth it.

One of those lines blows with the motor at 6000 rpm or more it's done... I wouldn't want to trust that to a piece of chinese rubber hose would you?

Not to mention when it oils down the rear tires & kills you.
