Default New to Nitrous-dual stage, direct shot...

Hello Nitrous World!
I am currently having a motor built that is 440ci with some ALL PRO LSW heads, and Marcella intake.
I would like to spray as much as 200 shot, but not all 200 out of the hole because i think first gear would be pointless wheel spin on Drs.
How does the second stage come in? I have seen push buttons and i do not want to do that. Nitrous Controler? I have seen window switches with a WOT switch but how would i stay out of a 200 shot in first gear? The most i want to be spraying in first is 100 then after that gear add another 100 (200 total).

Thank You For Any Info
-Kenny

Controller and it comes on either by gear, or you can have it set up on a delay- timer.

either a window switch like the nitrous outlet (tick performance) unit or a controller. it will only spray what each stage is pilled for. ( you need to run twice as many lines/ solenoids)

I am guessing i would have to run a switch on first gear which would lock out the second stage until 2-6 gears?

I will be going with a Built 6-speed, i am thinking a 26-27" tire. The gear i am not sure about yet i will be going with a Strange 60 rear.

What do people normally run for tires and gears?

I do not think i would have a problem running a 200 out of the hole, thats just alot of stress! With the spray i would be around 850 at the tire... The goal is low to mid nines at full weight.

The FJO progressive controller has a window switch and a first gear lockout. May be just what you need.

With that engine and a 150 shot out of the hole, you'll run those #'s with no problem.

if you are using a stick id try and go with a slick, stay away from a radial for track use. you will be fighting that thing constantly. drag radials for street use are ok. and you will need very little gear if you are using a 26" tire. i had to bump my rev limiter to 7400 just to get thru the traps with a 4.10 and 28" slick which will grow prob close to an 1" on top end.

What are you? Sounded like the top of 3rd in your videos...
I can always get different tires, but once i get a set gear i do not want to change it unless i break it... If i sould go to 28" tires i will, but you said they prob grow 1" so thats a near 29" in out small wheel well...

And for a rear gear?
How do you fit 28+1" tires in there also?

4.10....a little massaging. they fit. you will need adjustable control arms and panhard bar though.

Our microedge controller would do the job of operating your 2 stage. It'll also give you the option of locking out 1st or 2nd stage in any gear. It also has other built in safety features like A/F shutdown switch and various delays.

As for gearing and tire size, i think you would be set with 4.10's and a 28x10.5 inch slick.
