I would save for a 12 bolt or 9". But to answer your question, T/A cover and weld the axle tubes. Moser also makes hardened axles for our cars.

I've been racing mine for 9 years and only broke a couple of posi's..cheaper than a 12/9 bolt. IF I had a stick car I would save for a 12/9 bolt for sure.

busted 3 gear sets in 2 years. I have the 3.37 yukon gears now and they are handling track duty so far.

kinda interested when welding tubes do they have to be held in a jig of sorts to keep them from deflecting bc of the welding heat?

This has been dreamed about for years. It's physically impossible to make a 7.5" ring gear 10 bolt strong. Midwest Chassis has one of the most affordable custom tailored rear ends you'll find. The good news is there are plenty of cheap 10 bolts for sale.....

Weld the axle tubes to the center section, t/a cover, richmond gears, good center or spool, moser axles, billet yoke, and im surprised no one has said to get c-clip eliminators. Get rid of the c-clips.

Yes.

Don't Race it.

Leave the Automatic in.

Save your pennies for something better.

The amount of $$$ spent strengthening a 10 bolt is a good shot toward a 12 bolt or modified Ford 8.8.

"Stronger", yes. "Strong enough", you already got the advice.
The more you go up in gear ratio, the more grief you put on
the axles, the Torsen chunk and the fewer gear teeth meshed
to share the load.

the best way i have seen to save a 7.5, go with the suggestions above, and diet. the ones who take sh*t tons of weight out of the car seem to last forever. just my .02
