Default Thinking about going 370 since a spun a bearing

Yea, lovely days. Didn't even get to see what my newly repaired Dart225's would make. Spun either a rod or main bearing. What route do most go to attain 370? 6.0 iron block I know, but are some using the LS1/6 blocks? I plan to say N/A and I'm trying to keep it reasonable as this came unexpected. I guess this is how most end up upgrading cubes. I have the F14 HL cam, hoping to stay with it too.

I doubt you spun a main. What is it with the spun bearings I read about here?

You would have to stroke a LS1/LS6 block, they have a smaller bore. An iron block would use a 4.030" bore and stock crank for 370ci. You could even go 4.060" for 375ci, but most people will tell you it's not good to use with too much nirtous/boost. How much is too much, though?

.030 over on an LQ9 or LQ4 block. Stock stroke.
My 370 has .030 over Mahles, Scat 6.125 rods, and stock 3.662 LQ9 crank.

But why not build your LS1? Do you have a 6litre block already?

No, just not sure of what we'd find if I had them pull mine apart. I've already heard of nightmare from folks using used stuff. I believe mine was a rod bearing.

If I go the truck 6.0 shortblock route, what do I gain with using ARP rodbolts? I saw someone post in another thread about doing that. I mean, obviously, they're stronger, but anything proven?
