2003 what? With 430rwhp you should already be in the 12's. Manual or Auto car? What kind of 60ft times are you getting?

LS1 from some sort of Holden, now residing in 61Vette with 4L60E.Tyres Goodyear Eagle F1's.My first(and last) strip action had me spinning wheels and resulting in 2.6/60ft and 14.2 ET,terminal 106mph.Strip surface crap and known to give times some 0.5 secs off the norm. These times prompted trip to dyno with resuting 430hp at flywheel?A/F from wideband seemed OK showing 11.0 at WOT.Prochargers making 6-7lbs.So these numbers not too impressive? Thanks Kev.

Power seems low. Are you on the stock converter still?

Yeah stock converter.Seriously thinking of going manual with TKO 600.I know this won't improve ET's but good for being in the gear you want on the street and keeping the charger on boost.

Do you have a boost gauge? If so, where do you have it referenced?

2.6 60 ft sounds like a tire fryer at 106 mph that's like 12.50-60ish sounds like converter or a tire problem to me

Boost gauge is an Innovate and referenced from their manifold block which is basically tee'd of brake booster vacuum supply fed as usual from rear of manifold. When it gets to about 6-7lbs needle on gauge starts to fluculate(vibrate) rapidly.Procharger already has one size down from stock pulley so should be making some boost.

Tyre fryer it seems. On the next run I let out some air(15lbs!)probably too much.Light launch, floored it only to loose back end as boost came in as auto changed up.

Thanks for suggestions,Kev.

You need some drag radials or slicks. You should be in the 1.95-2.05 60ft that's my guess. You may pick up a two or three mph if it hooks solid.
