Clutch Shim Spec Clutch.. LT1 I called Spec and ordered a Shim because my clutch kit did not come with one. I heard you need one for the LT1s. Does anyone have a pic of one from an LS1? Im pretty sure they sent me the wrong type ( for an LS1 not LT1) of shim. The shim is like a spacer between the slave cylinder correct?
Do i even need a shim if i have a new flywheel? I will take measuresments to be sure, but I am waiting for a transmission to arrive in the mail.
