Anyone ever used Koni SA's with 1LE springs on the lower perch?
Going to be putting Koni SA's on my car with the stock springs on the lower perch since the car is a daily driver. I got to wondering today if the 1LE springs that lower the car very mildly (~1/2" I believe?) would work well on the lower perch also (and are still softer than other lowering springs correct?), or if that would be too much and cause problems. I don't currently have a set of stock springs, so I'd have to buy a set anyway.
Could this work or is it a bad idea? If not I'm just going to stick to the plan and use a set of stock springs because of my application.

I think that will be an excellent option. Konis work well for any spring and that combo will give you about an inch drop, maybe a skosh more. I wish I had a set of those myself to be DD friendly and still improve handling and height. Konis are NEVER a bad idea, wish I'd nutted up for them first instead of upgrading in increments with the Bilsteins. Have fun!

1LE springs are no different in height compared to stock F car springs.
I have a friend with a 2000 SS drop top with the Koni's on his stock 1LE springs (Lower perch and hose mod) and it rides and handles beautifully.

That's what I'm currently using. And yes, in 96, 1LE/WS6 springs made the vehicle sit every so slightly lower than the other cars.
They are much better springs than aftermarket lowering springs. However, with that said, Sam's lowering springs are even better, but come at a cost.
