Question Go to the other side or stay with the big stall auto??

I have a guy wanting to trade his M6 out of his 98z for my A4 out of my 98z. He has a z06 clutch that may not last much longer, and will throw in a stock clutch. A sponser is doing the swap and I will pay 200 for labor and he will take care of the rest. My A4 has a TCS 4400 stall. Also for a short time i will still be running my 2.73s. At least i will get good gas mileage. My car does not see the track alot at all, as of right know anyways. He says the tranny is in good condition and we will prob. drive eachothers cars before we swap. Do you think i should trade? Thanks

I wouldn't do it, but thats me. And I've owned both a M6 and A4 LS1.

I guess you should decide what suits you best. A lot of guys think if the car doesn't see the 1/4 mile much the 6 speed is the hot setup, because it's more fun. I disagree because I'm lazy and get tired of shifting.

A 6 speed with 2.73 would be crazy. Talk about being in need of a gear swap.

I always wanted a six speed. My car is mostly a street car. Also i have 4.10's and a girdle i can get my hands on, and a 3 series carrier. I know a A4 is faster but i don't know if i should swap it or not.
