Default SES light / A.I.R. related?

I've had an SES light for about a month, yea I know...

Its caused by the 'secondary air injection system' or something very similar to that. I think I read somewhere that this is caused by an old, decrepit A.I.R. pump. If this is right, I'm gunna go ahead and remove the A.I.R. system.

Relating to that, I need to know if this guide here, https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...oval-pics.html , is relatively similar to what the 02's A.I.R. system is installed.

After the removal, I'll still need to delete the codes, right?

before you do that you can always check the AIR pump check valves. They are like 12 bucks and that is what fixed my ses light. p1416 was my ses light code. PM me for further info.

Yeah I threw the p1416 code too! Changed the passenger side AIR check valve, cleared the code with my predator, good to go!!! Very easy job.

Alright, re-read the codes and I've got three now. P0112, P0410, and P1416.

I could remove the P0410 and P1416 codes by removing the A.I.R. system and deleting the codes, however, the P0112 code is new to me and it seems like the IAT is broke? This is the little plug thats closest to the lid, right? Wonder if this cable is bad or if the system its attached to...Hmm.

By the way, thanks guys for the replies.

It's a small cable, maybe it's been disconnected inside or a broken wire inside. Check that first. Isn't that just the intake air temp? Doesn't sound like it should be too hard to fix. Anybody else with some experience in this area feel like chiming in to help out this fine gentlemen?
