Default APS allternate mass air pipe?

Hey guys aftyer my SD tune ,I no longer need the mass air flow sensor in there. Are you guys just descreening them and leaving them in there? or gutting the whole insides of them? or,, are you putting a piece of pipe in there for better air flow? I was thinking of cutting that center rib out of mine and porting it so to speak to clean up the inside just wondering!LOL
Thanks Barnat

I bought a 3.5 by 4 inch long stainless intake pipe off ebay for cheap. It fits perfect and makes it easy to get things on or off as you can slide it back and forth .I wanted something clean looking and solid to mount my alc injection nozzles.

I also bought some sections of 3 inch oval pipe which works perfect to stent my intake tubes.

Ebay is your friend.
