Default Austin, San Antonio peeps in here please??

Im a professional truck driver and Im looking to maybe move to that area. Where would be a good place to look for a job?

Jobs are tough to get down here as they are everywhere right now. I would start with some of the freight companies on the south east, east and north east side of town. HEB warehouse might be another option for you.

I would suggest hitting up the warehouses. Off I35N and Rittiman. Labatt, HEB warehouse, Sygma, Sysco, Frito Lay etc. The Conn's warehouse is also in that general area. Those may be easiest to get into right now. Hope you find something.

Wal-Mart distribution center in NB had a sign saying they were hiring last time I looked.

yeah wal-mart dc's across Tx are short on help, there hiring over 23 thousand people state wide, and there is a 2-6 week wait to review online apps. Thanks Ive been there.

I know there's a few warehouses/distribution centers in the I-35 and 3009 area. may try over there as well.
