Patriot 243 59cc heads?
I have a TR 230 cam and i'm wondering if the PVC will be ok with the Patriot 243 59cc heads, and if it is whats the most compression i can get without hitting valves. Thanks.

What valves are you running? Stock valves you might get away with a little more but not worth the flow loss because of the not being able to get a bigger valve. Now if you want more air flow but minimal go with the Ferrea stock size vales, hollow (intake), sodium filled(exhaust) and you'll get about 15% more airflow in the back. Now is it worth it, depends on what your trying to accomplish. Me you keep it at 59cc and go with the 2.02 or fly cut like I am going to have to do and go with a 2.055.

That cam will work fine with those heads. you could probably get away with miling the heads more or using thinner head gaskest with out having issues, but then you would just have to check PTV depending on how far you want to go.

Not any more they don't!
To the OP.
IMO you should not take anyone's word for it and you should measure PTVC.
There are common misconception as to what "clear" means.
The question should be answered by "you'll have .0XX clearance".
To get a better idea ask Thunder what is the clearance value in a cam only (stock) heads application.
Valve drop on stock LS1 and stock LS6/LS2 is about the same.
Take that value and then deduct ~.030 for 59cc chambers and an additional .02 for 2.02 valves and you'll get a better guestimate.
IMO 59cc with TR230 is way below .080 recomended clearance.
If it were me, I would order the heads unmilled, then I would measure PTVC, then I would mill the heads accordingly.

It depends a lot on the valves & the heights they are installed at. When we build A PRC cylinder head for the camshaft we carefully set valve tip height to help consistantly predict p/v in a effort to provide the best possible chamber/pv combination for our customer & their goals. Just ordering a off the shelf cylinder head & hoping it will clear doesn't always produce the best results.
No matter what you decide do yourself a favor & have a local machine shop checkout what you purchased. Checking guide clearance & flowing is cheap!!!
