This isnt really a nitrous question, but it involves my nitrous kit. I have the microedge,wideband,and various switches for my nitrous kit. I am wondering where everyone gets their power for the wires at. I use to do it in the fuse panel beside the dash, but i looks really ugly and trashy, so i tore it all out and im changing some things.

There are a few switched 12+ under the dash. Look for the pink wires...just make sure that it can handle the load.

How do you determine if it can handle the load or not? Right now I have my switches running on the constant from the cig lighter, power in from the alt. wheel well posts. I used a higher gauge wire when connecting to the cig lighter, but can the oringal wires still hold the draw from 3 switches?

Is any pink wire down there hot, or certain ones?

The general rule of thumb is pink and orange wires are hot.The best thing you can do is get a meter or test light and find the ignition hot wires, then trace them to the fuse panel to check the amperage of the fuses.

You can also go off the fuse block on the drivers side of the dash where the door shuts and there are several keyed 12v sources there. I also believe that there is an empty slot or two that are 12v keyed that you can use over there as well.

I use the power block on the drivers side in the engine bay. Run that to a switch to turn the power to the solenoids. I have a fuse right at the block to just for the noids.

Fuse panel by the drivers door is the best location IMO. if you crimp it to the backside of the box no one even be able to tell you did anything.

^thats good thinking, i didnt think about going from the backside, like said before i did it from the front which looked like ****..
