drop the starter and you'll see it. It comes out easy, you'll see how when you look at it.

romeric, what was the symptoms of your car before you knew you had to rplace the crank sensor? I have been having some stalling issues with my car, and i think it could be the crank sensor but its not throwing any codes.

Random stalling, hard starts, then it runs fine, then it runs bad again, then it won't start, etc.... are the main symptoms of a "FAILING" crankshaft position sensor. Not saying thats 100% your issue though.

You will NOT get an SES light until it fails completely. When mine failed 2 years after I bought my car thats what I went through. After about 2 days of that crap I had it towed to the dealership and they changed that sensor and it was fine.

OP - If you replace the sensor believe you need software to do a CKP relearn procedure.
