Default 4l60e shifting problems

I have a 2000 denali. On highway driving, when I go to WOT, it down shifts from drive to 2nd at 50 mph, then stalls and hesitates shifting to 3rd at 1000 rpms before redline. In town, it does it from 3rd to 1st to 2nd at WOT but hesitates at 3000 rpm's. I need help fellas. Thanks.

Sounds more like a driveability issue. Basically a loss of power in the engine at a specific load. Vince

I'm just thinking that your trans might not be the problem here and I think you might need to look at the motor. It is possible that you are experiencing what some refer to as stall wall and a higher stall converter might help if you are still running on the factory converter. Vince

Could it be from the tps or maf causing this?
