Default Hello from Georgia

I have been a member for a while but have made only a few posts, but I read a post in here, it was in the thread about a camaro with a 5.3 conversion, seems I have ended up with the car and I have an update with pics.

Here is the original post from BMR hotrods...
Onuys at the shop had just picked up a 01 Z28 A4 with a toasted motor for next to nothing and got a 33K mike long block from a 05 for $300 off ebay. This with a used Z06 cam $80, ebay knock off long tube headers$180 in a otherwise stock Z28. The car pulled 326RWHP and 323RWT is this far more then we thought and thought anyone who has thought about a cheap LS conversion these 5.3s are a dime a dozen we have seen motor tranny combos with under 10000miles sell for 1500 all day long. Its just a great cost efficient way to get a LS under the hood and still make some good numbers. Im not tring to say this is a monster engine ether its just a $300 long block that got over 325HP at the wheels.

Here are some pics of the car,I have done a considerable amount of work to the car.
After some exhaust work,a set of plugs, all the free mods, a cooler thermostat, a 4:10 gear
and some time with a laptop and HP Tuners, I got 379 Hp and 360rwt on 87 octane fuel, all while getting an average of 20mpg, so don't let the lack of cubes and extra 80lbs for the Iron block fool you, it is one hell of a bang for the buck.

on another note I shift the car @ 6,400rpm's and running the ls1 injectors on the small motor' even with the cam swap duty cycle is at about 68 to 70% max so I think a 100 dry shot is in order.
