My dad want's to put a LS setup in his '62 vette but he wants to go the carbed route. Looking at pictures with a LS Intake Manifold setup it looks really close to the hood and I am thinking that the LS Carb setup would be taller than a LS Intake Manifold. Can anyone tell me how tall the Carb setup including filter is from where the bottom of the intake is a the bloack up to the top of the filter. Thanks in advance!

I dont know the measurements, but it is taller. To run that setup in an F-Body, without a filter on top mind you, the cowl needs trimed.

Well he is not sure, I guess which ever would be shorter... He really wants to keep the stock hood, but I'm thinking that's not gonna work...
